Purpose of the position:
The cashier is responsible for the reliable, secure, and transparent management of the company’s financial operations (cash receipts and disbursements). They must ensure that all financial transactions (premium payments, claims settlements, bank deposits, etc.) are carried out accurately, with traceability, and in compliance with internal control rules.
Job duties:
– Maintain the daily cash receipts log
– Verify the accuracy of received amounts
– Prepare the daily cash report for management
– File payment receipts and forward them to accounting
– Track checks and deposit slips
– Settle invoices to service providers/suppliers/claims
Candidate profile:
– Must be a man or woman at least 23 years old;
– Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance;
– Must have at least two years of experience in a similar position.
– Strong interpersonal skills, proactive approach, adaptability, availability, patience, integrity and rigor, self-control, willingness to learn, dynamism, and analytical and synthesis skills. –
Knowledge of the insurance industry would be an asset.
