About the Position: Pre-Employment Internship – Administrative & Accounting Assistant

Internship Context:

As part of structuring and strengthening its support functions, the firm is seeking a pre-employment intern in administration and accounting to assist with its administrative, accounting, and organizational activities.

This internship is part of a progressive learning approach, with close supervision and structured skills development.

INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES

To enable the intern to:

    understand the administrative and accounting operations of a firm;
    acquire practical skills in administrative, accounting, and organizational support;
    contribute, under supervision, to the smooth running of internal activities.

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

The missions below are carried out under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Manager:

    Support for Human Resources Administration:
    Participate in the management and updating of personnel administrative files;
    Support tasks related to personnel administration (filing, document tracking, simple dashboards);
    Contribute to preparatory work related to payroll (information gathering, consistency checks), without validation responsibility.

    Support for Material Resources Management:
    Participate in monitoring purchases of goods and services (purchase orders, invoices, filing);
    Contribute to monitoring stocks and fixed assets (updating files, inventories);
    Support the administrative management of suppliers and service providers (contract monitoring, files, deadlines).

    Support for Administrative Management:
    Participate in the administrative monitoring of relations with government agencies. (CNPS, Public Treasury, various organizations)
    Contribute to monitoring the validity of the firm’s administrative documents.
    Support the control of subscriptions and contracts entered into by the firm (telecoms, tools, services).

    Support accounting and financial activities.
    Participate in day-to-day accounting (filing documents, simple data entry under supervision).
    Support invoicing monitoring, in conjunction with the HR department.
    Contribute to updating simple monitoring spreadsheets (cash flow forecast, basic indicators), without decision-making responsibility.
    Participate in the preparation of internal reporting.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

    Education:

Bac +2 to Bac +3 in: Accounting – Management / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent.

    Experience
    Beginners welcome.
    Prior experience (internship, academic project) is an asset.

EXPECTED SKILLS

    Technical skills (currently being acquired):
    Basic knowledge of accounting and management;
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
    Interest in management tools and administrative procedures.

    Behavioral skills:
    Rigor and organizational skills

    Ability to learn and adapt;
    Team spirit and customer service orientation;
    Good writing skills.

TOOLS

    Microsoft Office Suite
