Missions
Under the supervision of the Finance Department, the Chief Accountant is responsible for the reliability of the company’s accounting and financial information. They play a key role in financial management, regulatory compliance, and the supervision of the accounting teams.
Main responsibilities
1. Accounting and financial supervision
• Supervise all accounting operations and ensure their compliance with applicable standards.
• Ensure the accounting review and produce the financial statements and tax return.
• Ensure the closing of monthly and annual accounts within the deadlines.
• Ensure strict compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
2. Financial Management
• Develop, monitor and validate annual and projected budgets.
• Implement financial dashboards and regular reporting.
• Analyze the discrepancies between forecasts and actual results and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct financial studies necessary for strategic decision-making.
3. Management and organization
• Supervise, motivate and evaluate the accounting team.
• Develop and improve accounting management tools and internal procedures.
• Ensure the proper application of procedures and the continuous improvement of practices.
Desired profile
Education and experience
• Minimum degree in Accounting, Accounting-Finance, Management Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum five (05) years of experience in an accounting management position.
• Experience in an accounting or auditing firm is highly valued.
• Strong team management skills.
