Within the framework of the partnership agreement between CAMRAIL and the Central African Railway Vocational Training Institute (IMEFAC) for the training of young Cameroonians in basic railway professions, the Managing Directors of CAMRAIL and IMEFAC announce the joint launch of a competitive examination for the recruitment of forty (40) Assistant Drivers and forty (40) Shunting Agents, according to the following schedule and practical procedures: I.
COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION
Registration for the competitive examination must be done at one of the following addresses: www.imefac.org or www.camrail.cm no later than April 26, 2026.

Candidates must meet the following requirements: • Assistant Driver: Must be between 20 and 25 years of age on the date of the competition and hold a GCE A-Level, a scientific or technical Baccalaureate (C, E, F1, F2, F3, BT MA), or an equivalent qualification.
• Shunting Agent: Must be between 20 and 25 years of age on the date of the competition and hold a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification.
II- DATE AND LOCATIONS OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. sharp in the following examination centers:
• Douala: IMEFAC Headquarters opposite the CAMRAIL Medical Center in Bassa,
• Yaoundé: Etoa-Meki Public School,
Ngaoundéré: Bilingual ENIEG.

4. A curriculum vitae including the candidate’s full address/telephone number
. 5. A receipt for payment of 20,000 CFA francs (Twenty thousand CFA francs). This sum represents 50% of the total cost of 40,000 CFA francs (Forty thousand CFA francs), the remaining portion of which is subsidized by CAMRAIL;
