JOINT GOVERNMENT-NGO YOUTH CONNEKT CAMEROON PROGRAMME PRESS RELEASE No. 03 /CRP/MINJEC/CAB OF 30 MARCH 2026 calling for applications for the selection and placement in academic or professional internship of 194 young men and women who have graduated or are in training, within the framework of the implementation of the Youth Connekt Job Component of the Joint Government-UN Youth Connekt Cameroon Programme, for the 2026 financial year.
THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AND CIVIC EDUCATION ANNOUNCES:
As part of the operationalization of the joint Government-UN Youth Connekt Cameroon Programme, launched in December 2019, under the High Patronage of the Head of State H.E. Paul BIYA, and with the aim of improving youth employability through professional immersion, a call for applications is launched for the selection and placement of 194 young men and women, graduates or currently in training, in academic internships (53) for a period of two months and in professional internships (141) for a period of three months, in agropastoral, urban, health, banking and finance, business, administration, IT, communication, mining, law, accounting, etc.
I. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Cameroonian men and women, aged 17 to 35, holding a Biometric Youth Card (CJB), wishing to undertake an internship, and holding a vocational training diploma or being duly enrolled in an academic or vocational training institution, are eligible to apply.
II. APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
– a stamped, handwritten application addressed to the Minister of Youth and Civic Education;
– an application form to be obtained from the MINJEC Central Mail Office, delegations, and Multifunctional Youth Promotion Centers (CMPJ), or downloaded from the MINJEC website (www.minjec.gov.cm) and the ONJ website (www.onjcameroun.cm);
– a photocopy of the birth certificate;
– a photocopy of the National Identity Card;
– a school certificate or a photocopy of the student card (academic internship);

III. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application files must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the MINJEC Mail Service, located at the Administrative Center or in the Regional and Departmental Delegations of MINJEC , no later than Friday, May 15, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. , with the subject line: “FOR THE SELECTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE FOR ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS 2026, YOUTH CONNEKT CAMEROON PROGRAM”, or online to the address: minjecdpej@gmail.com.
