JOB MISSION He is responsible for the quality of accounting information and must ensure its reliability and accuracy to guarantee compliance of financial statements.
REQUIRED SKILLS: A two-year post-secondary degree (BACC+2) in accounting/finance, auditing and management control, or equivalent qualification. Proficiency in accounting software used in microfinance institutions (MFIs). Mastery of the MFI chart of accounts. Minimum two years of experience in a similar position. Rigorous and autonomous. Analytical and proactive mindset. Strong listening skills. Punctuality, discipline, and respect.
JOB ACTIVITIES Under the supervision of the Finance and Accounting Director, the main responsibilities will be to: Ensure the accounting of various transactions; Ensure the archiving of accounting documents and files; Ensure compliance with deadlines for processing accounting and financial transactions; Maintain accurate accounts; Verify the consistency of entries; Ensure various bank reconciliations; Ensure proper accounting practices through adherence to accounting principles; Ensure the production of financial statements and ratios; Ensure the timely production of regulatory (SESAME and prudential ratios) and tax (DSF) reports; Monitor and verify various cash flow movements Finance
