Objective of the Accountant’s mission: The overall objective of the mission is to ensure the accounting management of the organization.
Scope of the mission
Specifically, the Accountant will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Secretary in the following areas:
· Development and monitoring of the structure’s budget in conjunction with the authorizing officer ;
· Implement and monitor accounting operations;
· Implement and monitor invoicing ;
· Implement and monitor payment and collection management systems in conjunction with the authorizing officer and the various projects underway in the organization ;
· Establish and check cash flow statements (day/week, etc.) ;
· Check the regularity and sincerity of accounting documents.
· Organize, plan and coordinate accounting and financial production while respecting deadlines and regulations applicable to the establishment
· Prepare the necessary package for the payment of statements linked to each project
· Prepare Statistical and Financial Declarations (DSF)
Location and duration of the mission: The Accountant will be based in Yaoundé.

Candidate profile
The candidate must meet the following conditions:
- Hold at least a BTS or equivalent in accounting.
- Proof of experience of at least five years in a similar position
- Demonstrate experience of collaboration with International Institutions (European Union, World Bank, UNDP, etc.)
- Proven knowledge of SAGE SAARI management software
- Have good skills in using computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
- The working language is French; However, fluency in English is a major asset.
