Mission / Job description:
MISSIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Operational Risk and Internal Control Manager, the “Accounting Auditor” will have the following main missions:
Produce the monthly summary on the review of account controls;
Carry out follow-up missions on the department’s recommendations on past missions;
Participate in meetings with the auditors;
Verify compliance with procedures for accounting flows;
Propose improvements to processes/procedures for secure and efficient processing of operations;
Regularly monitor the implementation of recommendations by the various entities;
Ensure compliance with schedules, budget forecasts and the effectiveness of the various project phases;
Carry out internal control and operational risk management missions;
Organize the schedule of controls related to its activities and one-off missions;
Produce reports on the control missions carried out and on operational risk;
Formulate recommendations to improve the operation of the controlled entities;
Handle operational risk incidents and ensure their follow-up in compliance with the deadlines stipulated by internal procedures.
Profile / Profile:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Level of education: Bac + 3 in Accounting, Auditing or management control; Experience: Five (05) years of minimum experience as a senior accountant / chief accountant in an EMF. Experience in a firm would be an asset.
