different brands, different suppliers, and hundreds of sellers, offering
a wide range of quality products at competitive prices. We offer
delivery services throughout the country and flexible payment options, including
online (mobile money) or cash on delivery.
We are currently looking for a Category Manager in the field
of household appliances / electronics.
Main missions:
Supplier management: Manage relationships with existing suppliers,
recruit new partners, negotiate contractual terms.
Assortment management: Select appropriate products for the
category based on customer needs and company policy,
collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product ranges
.
Pricing: Set product selling prices in line with
company policy and customer purchasing power, conduct
regular price audits to maintain competitiveness.
Merchandising and Marketing: Present products on site to drive
visibility and sales, plan and execute annual marketing campaigns
in line with company calendar, develop new
marketing ideas to drive sales.
Analytics and Business Intelligence: Define strategies and tactics
for the category based on relevant analytics, study
data to identify market trends and consumer expectations
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory regularly in collaboration with
suppliers, develop strategies to sell underperforming products
, forecast demand to ensure optimal
product availability.
Strategic Development: Develop long-term development plans
for product categories, be responsible for developing the
budget and revenue targets for the category.
Profile sought:
Education: Bac+5 degree in marketing, commerce, sales or
related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a
category manager or in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
Technical skills: Mastery of the principles of category management,
marketing and sales; understanding of data analysis and
forecasting methods.
Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Personal skills: Analytical mind with strategic capacity,
excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
organizational skills, ability to react quickly and anticipate developments
, ability to work under pressure and in a team.
