Delivery driver needed at Foka Constructions Douala

GENERAL MISSIONS

·         Achieve travel objectives set by Management;

·         Transport and deliver goods, in real time, in quantity and quality, to customers following the delivery notes received from the Sales department;

·         Ensure that the work vehicle is in good working order, by carrying out preliminary preventive maintenance operations.

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

·         Take care of all delivery operations, regularly checking loading and unloading;

·         Organize intercity tours according to traffic schedules and other customer satisfaction requirements;

·         Carry out systematic and periodic maintenance of the vehicle;

·         Check the documentation for the exit of goods from the store and the delivery of said goods to customers;

·         Coordinate cargo handling activities in the vehicle.

REQUIRED SKILLS

·         Knowing the techniques associated with “defensive driving” would be an asset;

• Be in good physical shape;
• Demonstrate punctuality;
• Have good organizational skills;
• Know how to work under pressure;

·         Having knowledge in the field of hardware would be an asset.

PROFESSIONAL CONDITIONS

·         Express yourself perfectly in fluent French, but knowledge of English would be an asset;

·         Hold a category B and C driving license;

·         Hold at least one BEPC diploma;

·         Have at least two (02) years of professional experience in a similar position;

·         Having a good ability to master the city of Douala would be an asset.
