JOB MISSION
Ensure the collection, securing and conservation of documents that constitute the bank’s documentary heritage;
• Guarantee rapid availability of documentation requested by bank users and/or authorized bodies.
Bank archives management

JOB ACTIVITIES
Collect, sort and classify administrative, banking and historical documents;
Evaluate the value of documents and apply retention periods;
Ensure the management of physical and digital archives;
Set up classification plans in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements;
• Ensure the digitization and indexing of documents where applicable;
Document management
• Organize the internal documentary database for employees (procedures, circulars, memos, etc.);
• Set up and/or monitor information management tools (EDM software, databases, intranet); Develop document management and conservation procedures;
Ensure the updating of documentary funds and their accessibility;
Dissemination and promotion
Respond to requests for documentary research and archiving;
Set up research tools and facilitate access to information;
Monitoring, security and regulation
Ensure the secure destruction of documents that have reached the end of their regulatory life;
Ensure regulatory monitoring on archiving and document management; • Apply the standards and rules for document conservation
Establish the authenticity of Bank documents; Ensure the security and confidentiality of documents.
Training and professional experience
PROFILE OF THE HOLDER
Diploma in archiving, library science or a related field (BACC +3 minimum);
• Experience of at least three (03) years in the management of archives and documents;
• Banking experience appreciated.
Knowledge

General knowledge of banking activity; Knowledge of archiving standards and regulations (ISO 15489, …);
Mastery of document management tools and archiving software (GED, ECM, archiving software);
Mastery of preventive conservation
and document restoration techniques;
• In-depth knowledge of protection rules

• Mastery of IT tools (MS Office Suite and Amplitude software package);
Knowledge of the English language.

Ability to handle old and fragile documents;
