Role
The JAVA LEAD BACK END Engineer is dependent on the entire back-office part, elements “invisible” to the user but on which the operation of the @fric Smart Pay payment aggregation platform depends.
In charge of a back-end team, he is responsible for the design, configuration, development, and maintenance of APIs, as well as ensuring their interfaces, from a parameter standpoint, with the APIs of other external systems.

3. Acceptance testing, quality controls (load scaling, unit testing) and monitoring of API performance
Skills and qualities required
The back-end engineer has skills in the following areas:
- Understanding Java EE architecture
- Managing persistence using JPA entities and Bean validation.
- Implementing business logic using EJB
- Using the Java Message Service API
- Implementation of SOAP services using the JAX-WS and JAXB APIs.
- Implementation of REST services using the JAX-RS API
- Using CDI beans, the concurrency API, and Batch AP
- Security, access management
- Software versioning, for example with Git
- Data backup
- Spring Core
- Spring Boot
- Spring Data JPA
Training
Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end development
Solid knowledge of the following processes
• Interpretation of UML diagrams
• Programming and configuration
• Testing and quality control
University degrees or degrees from Grandes Ecoles (Bac+4, Bac+5) in the following fields: Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or any other similar discipline.
A Java certification would be an asset.
