Join Acting Process for the Success of Sustainable Objectives (JAPSSO) is a Cameroonian civil society organization founded in 1999 in the city of Garoua. It was legally registered in 2003 as an association under No. 032/RDA/D21/BAPP and accredited as an NGO in 2014 by decree No. 401/A/MINATD/SG/DAP/SDLP/SONG, renewed on November 22, 2024 (No. 000T15/A/MINAT/SG/DAP/SDLP/SONG/BA). Its vision is to be an autonomous and resilient organization in the face of the challenges of sustainably improving the living conditions of people in Cameroon. To this end, it has set itself four key missions, including supporting communities in designing sustainable solutions; the organizational and strategic transformation of development actors; The promotion of social innovation and inclusion as drivers of transformation and the strengthening of community resilience in the face of development challenges. After 25 years of community intervention, JAPSSO operates in all ten regions of Cameroon on six themes: health, environment, rural and sustainable development, promotion of youth empowerment and development, various forms of support to decentralized local authorities and vulnerable populations, and gender and human rights.  

1. Purpose of the call for applications

As part of the termination of its activities, the NGO JAPSSO is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a Professional Accounting Intern to strengthen the Executive Management team:  

01 Professional Accounting Intern Based in Yaoundé

REQUIREMENTS:
– At least two years of post-secondary education in management sciences, business administration, accounting and finance, auditing and control, or a related field;
– Minimum of six months of professional experience;
– Completion of an internship in a similar position;
– Ability to classify and archive accounting documents;
– Ability to enter accounting transactions into accounting software;
– Ability to verify supporting documents;
– Ability to handle administrative correspondence;
– Support for the implementation of workshops and the management of local subsidies;
– Support for the preparation of financial reports and inventories;
– Strong organizational skills, analytical rigor, and adherence to deadlines for document production and transmission;
– Ability to work under pressure; 
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet;
– Strong sense of rigor and ethics
; – Ability to work in a multicultural environment; 
– Proficiency in Tompro or SAGE software would be an asset
– Perfect command, both written and spoken, of French and/or English.

2. Location of Contract:
The location of the contract is: YAOUNDE (Executive Directorate Office).

3. Working Conditions:
Local law professional internship contract.
Duration of the internship contract: 6 months. 
Start date: April 20, 2026. 

4. Application Deadline
: In a sealed envelope marked: “URGENT OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS No. 002/JAPSSO//2026 for the position of ………”, the following documents must be provided: 
• a cover letter addressed to the Executive Director;
• a CV;
• a photocopy of the most recent diploma or certificate;
• Proof of experience;
• a 4×4 passport-size photo;
• a photocopy of the national identity card;
• a reference;
• a location map.
Note: Applications from women are strongly encouraged. Applications
must be submitted in Yaoundé no later than Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 3:45 PM (strict deadline) , to the JAPSSO NGO located in Yaoundé, Bastos district, on the 5th floor of the building between the Spanish and Russian embassies, on Star Land Hotel Street. 
Any incomplete application, late submission, or application submitted to partners will be rejected outright.
