1. JOB OVERVIEW
VINKA is recruiting an Associate Accountant – Tax Specialist to join its Accounting and Finance team in Douala.
The company is looking for a rigorous, organized, and analytical professional who can maintain accurate accounting records and interpret financial information to assess business performance.
2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain general and analytical accounting records by project and client.
- Manage financial closing processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and submit tax and social security declarations within the required deadlines.
- Produce financial dashboards and reporting tools.
- Contribute to improving accounting procedures and internal processes.
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in general and analytical accounting.
- Previous experience in an audit firm or accounting practice is a significant advantage.
