💼 Position: Distribution Agent (M/F) – Logistics Management
UCB, guided by its values of Creativity, Integrity, and Courage, is seeking a qualified and organized candidate to support its distribution and yard operations.
💼 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that trucks are visibly clean, mechanically and administratively fit for trips, and that drivers are available before creating orders.
- Ensure all trucks available at the factory have loading orders, preparing them when necessary.
- Ensure trucks are systematically loaded and unloaded once positioned at the loading docks.
- Verify that all trucks loaded for delivery to distribution centres have their Sortie Marchandise (goods release) slips duly signed.
- Prepare activity reports on yard operations, resource utilization (trucks and labourers), and challenges encountered.
🎓 REQUIRED PROFILE
- Minimum Bac+2 in Logistics and Transport, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to create purchase orders and delivery documents using SAP.
- Ability to read and interpret stock transfer and logistics documents, including purchase orders, shipping slips, loading orders, and receiving slips.
- Ability to manage vehicle and equipment movements within the yard and coordinate truck positioning at loading docks.
- Knowledge of SAP and other relevant software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
