Responsibilities/Missions:
Supervise daily transport planning.
Ensure the availability of the necessary logistical resources for operations. Coordinate operations, maintenance, and transport teams to achieve production targets.
Monitor the supply, storage, and distribution of consumables. Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance.
Implement a monitoring system and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor diesel consumption and investigate discrepancies.
Manage spare parts, consumables, and fuel stocks. Guarantee
the traceability and security of supplies and inventory. Develop and monitor the logistics and transport budget. Identify sources of cost overruns and propose corrective measures. Negotiate rental and logistics service contracts. Define and manage logistics KPIs . Produce weekly and monthly reports. Participate in operational meetings and propose continuous improvement plans. Supervise and lead logistics teams on-site. Ensure compliance with QHSE standards for transport, storage, and maintenance. Organize ongoing staff training in safety and responsible driving. Education : Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) or Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. Additional QHSE/Maintenance training is a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years in logistics/transport, ideally in quarries, mines, or a multi-site industrial sector. Knowledge of fleet management and heavy equipment maintenance. Proficiency in CMMS/ERP tools and advanced Excel. Proficiency in office software: Word, Canva, Zoom, AI. Organizational and analytical skills; ability to work under pressure ; communication and negotiation skills; leadership and results-oriented. Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
