CALL FOR APPLICATIONS NO /AC/MINJEC/CAB/ DU

FOR THE SELECTION OF ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT (168) YOUTH VOLUNTEERS FOR THE 2024 YOUTH VACATION VOLUNTEERING OPERATION

PURPOSE OF THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Minister of Youth and Civic Education launches this call for applications for the selection of young Cameroonian volunteers of both sexes, aged 18 to 35 years old from the opening of the Youth Vacation Volunteering 2024 operation, for the benefit of 168 young people within the ministerial department for which he is responsible:

FIELDS, POSITIONS AND PROFILES
The fields of intervention, positions and profiles required of volunteers are as follows:

01 Community service – Assistance with citizen and community action and administrative procedures
– Awareness raisers – Be/Have worked as a Community Mediator
– Be physically fit and available
– Be of good moral character   
02 Information and Communication Technologies
(
ICT) Maintainers Hold a BTS or a Bachelor’s degree or more
        Computer Graphics Hold a BTS or an information technology certificate in
        Programmers Have at least a BAC + 2 years of training in
        Secretaries Office Automation Hold at least a Probatory   
        Network Technicians Have at least a BAC + 2 years of information technology in networks
        Webmasters Hold a diploma or a certificate in Web
        Database Managers Hold at least … less than a degree in database management BA ‘a certificate

Have a perfect command of Control System (CMS), programming language bases and production skills in

Drivers Executive secretaries Hold at least a BTS or be studying at least in the 3rd year Communication-Journaism / equivalent diploma Radio/TV presenter diploma Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Modern French Literature Hold a BTS or any other diploma in project development and management Hold at least a BAC G2 Hold at least a BAC G2, a BTS/a Bachelor’s degree or more in Business Management Hold at least a BAC G3, a BTS or an equivalent diploma in Marketing Hold a Statistics diploma or be studying at least level 2 in statistics Hold at least a BTS in Human Resources Management Hold at least a BAC or Professional Certificate in Industry l’Habille ent Be a dynamic learner or student, mastering the services of the locality of intervention Be physically fit and available Hold a category B driving license Be a student at least at Terminale 1 level Hold a diploma / an att station in executive secretarial COMPOSITION OF THE APPLICATION FILE The application file includes the following documents: – a stamped request addressed to the Minister of Youth and Civic Education; – a registration form for the Youth Vacation Volunteering activities, to be collected from the Courrier service at the MINJEC headquarters building, opposite the National Archives building at the Secretariat of the Directorate of Social Integration of Youth and Volunteering (DISJEV), located in Nlongkak, MINJEC annex building, 5th floor, from the Regional, Departmental and District Delegations of Youth and Civic Education or to be downloaded from the MINJEC websites www.miniec.gov.cm and the National Youth Observatory www.onicameroun.cm • – a photocopy of the National Identity Card; – a photocopy of the pupil/student/vocational training card, or receipts for payment of university/school/training fees currently valid for candidate learners; – a photocopy of the diploma or any other document justifying the candidate’s skills; – a photocopy of the Biometric Youth Card or the receipt for submission of the Biometric Youth Card application, if applicable.IV- DEADLINES FOR ADMISSIBILITY OF APPLICATION FILES The deadline for admissibility of files is set for Monday, July 15, 2024.

– In the Central Services, physical application files are received under sealed cover at the Directorate of Social Integration of Youth and Volunteering (DISJEV), located in Nion kak, annex building of MINJEC, 5th floor. – In the Decentralized Services, physical files are
submitted to:
– Regional Delegations of Youth and Civic Education (DR JEC); – Departmental Delegations of Youth and Civic Education (DDJEC); – District Delegations of Youth and Civic Education (DAJEC).

V- SELECTION PROCEDURES
The application files received will be examined by the members of the Ad hoc committee or working group. At the end of this examination, the selected candidates will be informed by means of a notice and/or telephone.
