Missions

  • You play a key role in the structuring, management, and development of several high-potential pharmacies, working closely with management.
  • You contribute to the definition and deployment of high operational, organizational and quality standards
  • You are proactive in suggesting areas for development, continuous improvement, and the evolution of the service offering.
  • You will be responsible for performance management (quality, revenue, margin, inventory turnover), implementing monitoring and reporting tools, and supervising and developing the skills of the teams.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating with external partners (suppliers, institutions, service providers)
  • You ensure the dispensing and proper use of the medication 
  • You ensure that the patient fully understands the treatment 
  • You analyze prescriptions according to best practices 
  • You meet the public’s expectations regarding health: major role in first aid care (pharmaceutical advice and/or referral to other healthcare professionals if necessary);
  • You contribute to health safety systems (pharmacovigilance, materiovigilance, health alerts, batch withdrawals, etc.)
  • You coordinate the purchasing, stock management and proper storage of medications 
  • You actively participate in the construction and implementation of the pharmacy’s development plan.

Required qualities and skills

  • You hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and are registered or in the process of registering with the Order of Pharmacists in Cameroon.
  • You reside in or are in the process of settling in Cameroon
  • International professional or academic experience is highly valued.
  • You have between 8 and 12 years of experience in pharmacy AND in industry/NGOs
  • You have experience managing a pharmacy, including a team of pharmacy assistants and pharmacists. 
  • You have significant experience that allows you to take a step back, structure an activity, and make binding decisions.
  • You are comfortable in demanding, rapidly changing environments, with clear objectives and a high level of autonomy.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of the patient and medications
  • You demonstrate rigor, empathy, and teaching skills, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are rigorous and honest.
  • You are ambitious and ready to give your all to advance in your career and make a daily impact.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You are open-minded and sensitive to the latest trends in innovation (digital, scientific, etc.)
  • You are comfortable in multicultural and bilingual (English – French) environments.

Terms and conditions

  • Location: Yaoundé or Douala, Cameroon (travel required)
  • Attractive remuneration: mixed salary (fixed component + variable component)
