ECOBANK CAMEROON SA is recruiting for its services one (01) Service Officer, Infrastructure Desktop and Network Support able to work throughout the national territory.
The position is based in Douala.
JOB LEVEL: 3 / JOB CATEGORY: 2A
I. JOB OBJECTIVES
Under the supervision of the Head of Infrastructure, he is responsible for the deployment, upgrades, and
administration of the bank’s PCs and printers.
He ensures the monitoring of the bank’s computer rooms and compliance with standards.
He monitors the network infrastructure and its availability.
II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
NETWORK ADMINISTRATION
Ensure that existing sites comply with the Group’s LAN/WAN standards.
Supervise/Monitor the LAN/WAN network using appropriate tools: Ensure that all
connections (Primary and Backup) are UP.
Ensure that any detected incident or anomaly is addressed (diagnosis and resolution) by
managing interventions.
SECURITY AND INTERNET
Implement and maintain security policies on PCs, Servers, and routers.
Control the use of and access to IT tools in accordance with standards.
NETWORK AND PC TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR BRANCHES
Manage the assistance, helpdesk, and user support service.
Ensure that all workstations in branches are functional and performing well.
Ensure that all printers in branches are working.
Ensure regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
Ensure the creation of user profiles in the internal directory.
ATM SUPERVISION
Monitor/Supervise ATMs.
Report any anomalies to the custodians or the technical team for necessary action.
MAINTENANCE OF POWER SUPPLIES AND UPS (MAIN BRANCH)
Ensure monthly maintenance of the installations. Keep all maintenance records.
Ensure the correction of any anomalies.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft 365 support (Teams, Intune, MDATP).
Minimum 3 years in administration of medium-sized networks (centralized architecture).
Proficiency in OSI, TCP/IP, VoIP, VPN, and PPPoE protocols.
Good knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Enterprise environments.
Education
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
Technical certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Fortigate, etc.) are highly valued, with at least 2 years
of practical experience.

Analytical mind, technological curiosity, and ability to learn quickly.
Proactive, autonomous, rigorous, and service-oriented.
Ability to work in a team, manage pressure, and take initiative.
