JOB PURPOSE
▪ To manage, optimize and secure the bank’s system and storage infrastructure in order to ensure service continuity, the
performance of critical applications and compliance with regulatory requirements (COBAC, Basel III, GDPR);
Job profile
▪ At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in system and storage
administration, ideally in a banking or financial
environment;
▪ Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Windows Server
2016/2022;
▪ Virtualization: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V;
▪ Storage: NetApp ONTAP, Dell EMC PowerStore, HPE
3PAR;
▪ Backup: Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup;
▪ Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, LAN/SAN best
practices;
▪ Security: Active Directory, GPO, LDAP, PKI, hardening;
▪ Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible;
▪ Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, PRTG;
▪ Cloud: Basic knowledge of Azure / AWS (IaaS, PaaS);
▪ ITSM: ServiceNow, OTRS, ITIL v4;

Systems Administration:
▪ Install, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers (Linux
RHEL/CentOS, Windows Server);
▪ Administer virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, Microsoft
Hyper-V);
▪ Manage updates, patches and upgrades for operating systems and
middleware;
▪ Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disks) and ensure
defined SLAs are met;
▪ Automate repetitive tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Ansible);
▪ Manage accounts, access rights and security policies (Active
Directory, LDAP);

JOB MAIN ACCOUNTABLILITIES (Key tasks and additional activities)
Storage Administration:
▪ Administer SAN/NAS storage arrays (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE) and
object storage solutions;
▪ Plan and manage storage capacity in line with the growth of banking
data;
▪ Configure and optimize LUNs, volumes, snapshots, replication and
tiering;
▪ Implement and test backup and recovery plans (Veeam,
Commvault, NetBackup);
▪ Ensure the availability and integrity of critical data (customer data,
transactions, archives);
▪ Oversee data migration as part of IT modernization projects;
Security & Compliance:
▪ Implement the security policies defined by the CISO (system
hardening, CIS Benchmarks);
▪ Manage SSL/TLS certificates, PKI and encryption solutions for
sensitive data;
▪ Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments and
penetration tests;
▪ Ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements (COBAC,
BCEAO, Basel III);
▪ Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and operating
procedures;
Monitoring & Support:
▪ Monitor the infrastructure using monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios,
PRTG, Grafana);
▪ Manage N2/N3 incidents and problems in accordance with ITIL
procedures;
▪ Draft and maintain runbooks, operating procedures and incident
reports;
▪ Participate in BCP/DRP (Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery)
exercises;
▪ Provide technical support to application teams and developers;
