Africa Education Publishing House is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates to join its team and contribute to the design and deployment of innovative technology solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deploy web and mobile features for the company’s digital platform.
- Use AI-powered coding tools daily to improve development speed and efficiency, including Cursor, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Produce AI-assisted training and communication videos using tools such as HeyGen, Descript and CapCut.
- Implement HR dashboards, QR-code digital badges and real-time notifications.
- Ensure data security and the reliability of offline modules with synchronisation capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (BAC+3 to BAC+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of Full-Stack development experience.
Technical Skills
- Front-end, Back-end and mobile development.
- Programming technologies, particularly Node.js, Express and Python.
- Database design and management, especially PostgreSQL and SQL.
- API development and integration, including REST API, GraphQL and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with IoT and digital hardware integration, including biometric terminals, QR-code readers and RFID badges.
- Regular use of AI tools in software development.

- Ability to develop reliable solutions and deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
