two French-speaking teachers
Local contract
Missions:
– Design and implement teaching in all disciplines while respecting the
French programs for cycles 1-2-3
– Ensure the success of all students by offering differentiated teaching Skills
:
– Bac + 3 in or equivalent diploma, with teaching experience desired
– Good knowledge of the French education and school system
– Good command of the French language –
Excellent personal organization
– Good command of IT tools
– Autonomy, listening, creativity
– Method and rigor
– Teaching techniques –
Stages of child development
– Conflict prevention and management techniques
– Child psychology
– Group facilitation techniques
– Adaptability and ability to work in a team
NB: These positions require a significant investment and hours of preparation outside of
working hours.
Relational
– Relational qualities with students, technical, administrative and teaching staff
– Teamwork
– Discretion, duty of reserve, ethics
The teacher will carry out the usual activities of a school teacher including:
• Define a learning objective and establish the schedule of educational activities
• Monitor punctuality, student attendance at classes, check supporting documents and inform
parents
• Collect information and prepare the lesson in session (preparation sheet,
learning method)
• Organize the classroom teaching space
• Supervise students during breaks
• Develop the teaching approach
• Adapt the learning process according to the students’ difficulties
• Evaluate progress in the student’s learning
• Inform families, teaching teams about the evaluation methods, results, difficulties
or behavior of the child
• Process information (collect, classify and update)
Contract
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract
Duration of service: maximum weekly 27 hours (class hours and meetings).
