CARITAS, the humanitarian branch of the CDD (Diocesan Development Committee), is a
development organization created by the Diocese of Maroua-Mokolo in the Far North Region . It was born in May 1982 from the diocesan desire to provide a service for the development of the whole person and all people
to local populations, who are facing numerous difficulties.
