The company Europe Afrique Services (EAS), specialized in outsourcing and
human resources management, is recruiting for the needs of its client, a
large prestigious local bank, a Treasury Operations Officer,
for a 6-month assignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Treasury Operations Officer is a professional who manages the bank’s cash flows
, ensuring liquidity and financial risk management.
You are responsible for cash and securities treasury. More specifically, you are
in contact with all banking correspondents for the cash part
and you ensure the entry point for relations with the
Clearing Houses.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Process hedge calls with the clearing houses
daily.
• Manage with financial intermediaries all cash flows in
all currencies (collaboration with the customer back office, OST back office and
accounting department).
• Prepare monthly penalty invoicing for customers
(late payment interest, etc.) and transfer them to the accounting department and/or the
invoicing department for the preparation of the invoice.
• Maintain constant vigilance on the monitoring of customer risk
(atypical transactions, late payments, etc.) and compliance with
procedures.
• Create and analyze OST files and manage customer communication;

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
• At least 6 months of experience in money market or financial market operations
.
• At least 6 months of experience in operations related to
foreign exchange regulations in the CEMAC zone
• You have a good knowledge of the financial markets in the
CEMAC zone.
• MS Office Suite medium level
• Microsoft Excel high level
• Mastery of Amplitude (CBS)
LEVEL OF STUDY
BAC+4/5 Finance, Accounting or Commerce.

-French: fluent
