We are actively seeking for one of our clients, a company specializing in the implementation of
telecommunications infrastructure in Cameroon and around the world:
ONE (01) SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Carry out accounting records in accordance with local regulations, prepare, review
and analyze accounting documents, financial statements and other financial reports to assess their accuracy, completeness and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
MAIN MISSIONS / ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES – – – – – – – – – – – – – Prepare customer invoices; Account for customer invoices; Prepare statements for proof of payment of long-term customers; Maintain the billing file; Carry out bank reconciliations. Prepare tax and social security declarations; Analyze tax accounts. Prepare accounting records, Organize the storage and archiving of accounting documents. Carry out monthly reports. Ensure the monitoring, analysis and reporting of operating expenses; Coordinate the development of budgets for Headquarters departments; Monitor the evolution of expenses and assist operational staff in their expense optimization initiatives . Close reports, calculate cost prices as well as margin control; – – – – – – Analyze monthly performance and actual vs. budget vs. forecast variances; Implement corrective and preventive actions on actual vs. budget and/or actual vs. forecast variances; Control and monitor analytical cost allocations, propose/correct reported anomalies; Develop ad hoc analyses to support the decision of Department Heads; Control inventories and reconciliation of material stocks;
QUALITY SAFETY ENVIRONMENT MISSION – Comply with the rules defined within the Environmental and Social Management System; – Report any identified non-compliance.
INITIAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Business schools/specialization in finance – management control; – Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences; – Minimum experience of 05 years in a similar position or in the same sector of activity;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
– Knowledge of the telecommunications sector: Equipment, products and services; – Significant experience in team management; – Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills; – Knowledge of standards and regulations regarding safety and quality
(working conditions, environmental standards, fire safety, etc.); – Proficiency in office software (power point, excel and word).
