POSITION: ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER
MISSIONS
Verify that transactions are recorded according to accounting principles and methods.
Supporting operational staff in resolving problems and anomalies encountered
Produce and analyze portfolio-related control charts – account
Analyze the account reconciliation statements
Checking spontaneous tax and duty declarations
Analyze the general account balance on a daily basis
Supervise the production of reconciliation statements and supporting documentation for internal accounts by operational staff.
Produce the bank account reconciliation statement
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year as an accountant/accounting controller in a bank or accounting firm/internal control with an emphasis on accounting
LEVEL OF STUDY
Bachelor’s degree (3-4 years of higher education) in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Banking and Finance, or BBS training
DESIRED QUALITIES
Sense of order, rigor, adaptability
Excellent writing, summarizing and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team spirit and effective communication
Proficiency in computer tools, particularly accounting and banking software
Good knowledge of accounting and tax standards
Excellent command of Excel and English is essential
