We are RECRUITING: AN ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER
CECIC SA, a 2nd category microfinance institution, is actively looking for
an Accounting Controller for its YAOUNDE branch.
MISSIONS
-Maintain the agency’s accounts in their entirety, in accordance with the internal procedures in force:
-Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal/tax compliance of the agency’s operations; -Ensure compliance with internal procedures by the agency’s staff: -Check the compliance and sincerity of daily operations carried out in the agency: -Ensure the profitability of its production unit.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
-Ensure the chronological processing of all accounting operations of the agency: -Ensure the proper maintenance of the agency’s accounts:
-Ensure the application of internal management procedures in the agency and their updating; -Participate in the establishment of a control framework, the relevance of permanent controls and their effective implementation:
-Monitor the archiving of documents;
-Assist the Chief Accountant in the preparation of financial statements and annexes;
-Participate in the recovery in the agency:
-The lettering of accounts.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Experience in security after IT training: secure protocols, antivirus,
certificate management, strong authentication, time stamping, SSO;
Technical skills in networks, security, firewall, antivirus, Active directory, authentication, infrastructure.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
Organization and Rigor / Good interpersonal skills and listening skills / Demonstrate diplomacy /
Be alert and have a critical mind / Have good writing, analysis and synthesis skills / Respect for deadlines / Endurance.
REQUIRED PROFILE
– Training: minimum Bac + 3 in Finance Accounting or management control, with a G2 Baccalaureate as a base preferably:
– Experience: minimum 3 years of professional experience in the banking or microfinance sector, and proof of at least 2 years in a similar position.
