JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a young qualified employee to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good experience in managing the Company’s internal software, purchasing IT hardware, managing the IT fleet, maintenance and facilitating user support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
→ Management of the company’s internal software
• Ensure the management and maintenance of software packages used by the IT Department.
• Supervise updates and developments of software packages.
• Analyze user needs and suggest improvements.
• Guarantee the security and integrity of data in software packages.
→ Management of IT hardware purchases
• Manage the purchasing processes for IT hardware and software.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best conditions.
• Monitor and optimize the IT department’s purchasing budgets.
• Ensure compliance of purchases with company policies.
→ IT Asset Management
• Ensure inventory and management of IT equipment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and renewal operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Manage maintenance contracts and supplier relationships.
→ User Support
• Provide technical assistance to users to resolve IT problems.
Train users on the company’s tools and software. Document incidents and solutions provided.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure effective support.
→ IT Maintenance
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures.
• Update and install software and operating systems.
• Ensure the security and compliance of IT installations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum Bac+3 in IT or a related field
• Good understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux
• Familiarity with common productivity applications (Microsoft Office etc)
• Basic knowledge of networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN
• Experience with ticket management tools such as Jira, GLPI
• Experience in purchasing and negotiation management.
• Knowledge of English
ITIL, ComptiA certification
• Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of computer hardware and asset management software
• Good knowledge of operating systems and common applications
• In-depth technical knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Skills in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware.
ASSETS AND OTHER SKILLS
• Excellent understanding of hardware components such as computers, printers, servers and network devices.
• Knowledge of system security principles and best practices for protecting the IT asset. • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to users
• Patience, empathy and ability to manage user frustrations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the technical team
