FAIRMED is a Swiss non-governmental organization that has been working since 1959 to improve the health of poor, vulnerable and marginalized populations in several countries around the world. By contributing to universal health coverage and working for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) whose slogan is “leave no one behind” Job Summary The Accounting Assistant will support operations participating in accounting tasks, maintaining compliance with donor financial policies. He is detail-oriented, organized and passionate about I Specific Responsibilities and Tasks 1 . Financial and Accounting Management      Make budget allocations to the ANESVAD project   Check the compliance and completeness of the packages for all payments (Payment receipts, Transfer order, check)      Process supplier invoices and ensure that payments are made on time.      Ensure compliance of expenses with approved budgets.      Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports          Control accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.

     Establish the weekly requirements statement
     Ensure the chronological classification of accounting and financial documents
     Monitor the reimbursements of advances and return to cash
2. Bank and cash management
     Make monthly reconciliations of cash registers, banks, accounts receivable and accounts payable
     Keep accurate cash books and monitor cash requirements.
3. Participate in the pre-audit
     Organize and maintain archiving in good form
     Develop risk tables and submit to management
     Check the consistency of accounting documents with interim and final financial reports.
4. Equipment management
     Maintain the fixed asset table
     Maintain the various logbooks for the project’s motorcycles and vehicles
     Enter and allocate fuel consumption according to the logbooks
     Maintain stock sheets by item.
     Perform any other task assigned by management in connection with the missions of the project and FAIRMED
     Assist with end-of-year inventories.
Candidate profile
BAC + 3 in accounting, Finance, management and business administration
  Good computer skills

     Good level of French and English
     Advanced knowledge of donor reporting standards.
     Advanced knowledge of accounting fundamentals
     Advanced knowledge of management control
     Knowledge of project management fundamentals
     Know how to use accounting software Know how to use
     application software (Excel, Word, Power point)
     Know how to use budgetary tools
     Advanced knowledge of the financial structure of a project
     Advanced knowledge of the management framework o Justify a minimum of 03 years of professional experience in a similar position
     Experience of 03 years minimum in an international organization Proven practical experience of office and electronic communication computer tools and software
