Reporting line: Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Purpose of the position
Ensure the reliability, completeness and compliance of the accounting of all entities of the group, produce the financial statements on time and supervise the accounting teams, in compliance with the revised OHADA/SYSCOHADA framework and regulatory requirements (COBAC/CEMAC).
Main responsibilities
⢠Supervise the maintenance of general, analytical and subsidiary accounting for all entities in the group.
⢠Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings in compliance with the set deadlines.
⢠Produce financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, TAFIRE, appendices) in accordance with the revised SYSCOHADA.
⢠Ensure the justification and reconciliation of accounts as well as bank reconciliations.
⢠Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (declarations, VAT, corporate income tax, withholdings) and reporting deadlines.
⢠To supervise, motivate and develop the skills of the accounting teams of the entities.
⢠Develop and implement the group’s accounting procedures and manual.
⢠Coordinate work with auditors, external auditors and government agencies.
⢠Contribute to consolidation work in conjunction with the Finance Department.
Key deliverables
⢠Balances and general ledgers reconciled at each closing (monthly J+5).
⢠Certified annual financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, notes to the financial statements).
⢠Tax returns and declarations filed within the legal deadlines.
⢠Closing and review files by entity.
⢠Up-to-date accounting procedures manual.
Skills and qualifications
⢠Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or equivalent; DECOFI / DSCG / accounting expertise appreciated.
⢠5+ years of accounting experience, including proven experience in team management.

⢠Excellent command of accounting software (ERP) and Excel.
⢠Rigor, organizational skills, respect for deadlines and team spirit.
⢠Experience in a multi-entity/multi-activity environment preferred.
⢠Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
Perimeter
⢠Accounting for the entire group, covering all subsidiaries and lines of business.
⢠Close coordination with Management Control, Treasury and Finance Department.

⢠Compliance with closing deadlines and the production of financial statements.
⢠Reliability and completeness of accounts (rate of justified accounts, audit adjustments).
⢠Tax and regulatory compliance (no penalties or adjustments).
⢠Quality of management and performance of accounting teams.
