EMRALD SECURITIES SERVICES, a leading financial and investment group in the CEMAC capital markets, is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its subsidiary, Emrald Securities Services Microfinance β Cameroon, authorized under Decree No. 00000478/MINFI of May 26, 2026, as a second-category microfinance institution with a share capital of 1,000,000,000 CFA francs, based in Douala, Cameroon.
MAIN MISSION
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the administrative, accounting, and financial management of the microfinance institution. They ensure the reliability of financial information, compliance with regulatory obligations, and the optimization of resources to support the institution’s growth and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the accounting, financial, and administrative management of the institution;
Develop and monitor the annual budget and financial forecasts;
Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (OHADA, COBAC);
Manage cash flow and optimize financial operations;
Implement management control and performance monitoring tools;
Produce financial statements and ensure reporting to senior management and regulators;
Supervise and lead the administrative and financial team;
Supervise payroll and personnel administration;
Manage relationships with banks, financial partners, and regulatory bodies;
Define and implement procedures to optimize costs and improve profitability;
Analyze financial performance and propose improvement strategies;
Ensure the management of financial and administrative risks.
REQUIREMENTS
: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in finance, accounting, auditing, management control, banking and finance, or a related field;
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a finance department;
Certification in financial management, auditing, or management control would be an asset.
