1. Purpose of the position
The ACTIVA Group is a pan-African insurance group present in several sub-Saharan African countries with an
ambitious vision of growth and regional expansion.
The Group DGA is looking for a high-level Chief of Staff to support it in the execution of its
strategic, organizational and operational responsibilities.
2. Main responsibilities
2.1 Strategic management and decision support
• Organize and structure the workload of the DGA by facilitating decision-making.
• Monitor the implementation of strategic projects: pan-African expansion, legal structuring, digitalization,
new entities.
• Ensure consolidated reporting on the Group’s key KPIs for arbitration.
2.1 Strategic steering and decision support
• Prepare strategic files and decision notes for the Group DGA;
• Participate in defining priorities and ensure their timely implementation;

• Ensure the strategic, political and economic monitoring necessary to anticipate issues;
• Contribute to the drafting of communications (interventions, reports and presentations) for the Group DGA.
2.3 Operational coordination
• Monitor the progress of cross-functional projects managed by the Group DGA;
• Take charge of monitoring committees and management meetings (agenda, minutes, reminders)
• Monitor the progress of action plans with subsidiaries and central management;
• Liaise with the various Group management and subsidiaries to ensure the proper execution of decisions
taken;
• Organize internal meetings chaired by the DGA, prepare agendas and write minutes;
• Supervise the drafting of notes, summary documents and memos with high added value;
• Ensure the smooth flow of information between the DGA and the Group’s management
2.4 Stakeholder management
• Serve as an interface point with subsidiary DGs, group functions, external firms, strategic partners and
regulators;
• Prepare the DGA’s meeting files with internal or external stakeholders;
• Coordinate the management of the institutional agenda;
• Contribute to the image, influence and presence of the Group in decision-making circles in support of the DGA.
2.5 Special Project Management
• Manage end-to-end certain cross-functional projects entrusted directly by the DGA (acquisitions, IT projects,

reorganization, ESG initiatives, etc.);
• Identify alerts and signals requiring action or a decision from the DGA;
• Be a force for proposals in arbitrations and the resolution of complex or cross-functional problems.
3. Desired profile
Training and experience:
• Bac+5 minimum (business school, political science, law, management or equivalent);
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of professional experience
• Previous experience in a Chief of Staff / Project Management Officer / Strategy Consulting /
General Management or Program Management position in a demanding environment (consulting firm, management of a
pan-African group, etc.)
