INSTITUTIONAL CONTEXT
The French Institute of Cameroon is a key player in French-Cameroonian diplomatic relations. As the operator of the French Embassy, the IFC implements the French cooperation strategy in Cameroon through cultural, educational, and linguistic initiatives. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Job title: Communications Manager
2. Contract type: Fixed-term contract (maternity leave replacement) 3. Position: Management of a team of 5 people
4. Reporting to: General Management
MAIN MISSION:
1. Define and implement the internal and external communications strategy of the French Institute of Cameroon
2. Supervise and coordinate the actions of the communications team (5
people) and the various departments of the IFC
3. Ensure the consistency of the brand image across all media
4. Manage press and public relations
5. Manage communications projects within deadlines and budgets
REQUIRED PROFILE
1. Higher education in communications (Bac+4/5)
2. Proven experience (5 years minimum) in a similar position
3. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
4. Proficiency in digital communications tools
5. Project management and team management skills
6. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage priorities
CONDITIONS
1. Work location: Yaoundé
2. Contract duration: 3 months
3. Start date: April 1, 2025
4. Salary level: Level 5 step 1 according to the salary scale of the French Embassy in Cameroon
