Yaoundé, June 8, 2026
The Minister of Public Health, Dr. MANAOUDA Malachie, informs the public of the opening of the
entrance examinations for public and private training establishments for healthcare personnel approved by the Ministry of Public Health, for the 2026-2027 academic year.
For training in medical and healthcare professions, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:
1. ORGANIZATION
1. For the following training programs: Nursing Assistants, Medical and Healthcare Technical Agents, State-Certified Nurses, Midwives/Obstetricians, Senior Sanitary Engineering Technicians, and Senior Medical and Healthcare Technicians.
For the 2026 session, the entrance examination for the aforementioned training programs will take place for the written tests on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the following ten (10) examination centers: Bafoussam, Bamenda, Bertoua, Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, Maroua, Ngaoundéré, and Yaoundé. 2. For training programs: Specialised Nurses For the 2026 session, the selection of candidates for the Specialised Nurses training cycle will be carried out exclusively on the basis of application review. 11.

CONDITIONS TO BE MET 1.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: To apply, the conditions to be met are as follows: a. For regular candidates Be of Cameroonian or foreign nationality of both sexes; Be aged at least 18 years and at most 35 years on January 1, 2027.
b. For employed candidates: State employees, employees of the secular and religious private sector;
Must be of Cameroonian or foreign nationality, of either sex;
Must be at least 21 years old and no more than 45 years old on January 1, 2027.
2. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
To apply, candidates must hold one of the following required diplomas: a. Training programs: Nursing Assistants and Health

IV. APPLICATION FILE COMPOSITION
Complete files must include the following documents:
1. A form to be completed, printed by the candidate, and downloaded from the website www.concoursminsante.cm or http://concours.minsante.cm 2. A stamped application form (1,500 CFA francs), dated and signed by the candidate, containing the following information: The candidate’s full name and address; The chosen training programs; The examination center; The chosen training institutions: candidates must choose three (3) training institutions, including one (1) public institution and two (2) private institutions, according to the available training programs and in accordance with the list of training institutions approved by the Ministry of Public Health in the appendix; 3. A certified copy of the birth certificate issued within the last three (3) months; 4. A certified copy of the required diploma issued within the last three (3) months. 5. A certificate of presentation of the original required diploma, dated less than three (3) months prior; 6. An extract from the criminal record (bulletin N03), dated less than three (3) months prior; 7. A medical certificate signed by a physician practicing in a public health facility, attesting that the candidate is fit to undertake the requested training; 8. A certified true copy of the national identity card or any other valid identity document, dated less than three (3) months prior; 9. A certified true copy of a recruitment document or employment contract signed by the employer for employed candidates/holders of the State Diploma in Midwifery; 10. A certificate of actual attendance at the post, dated less than three (3) months prior, signed by the employer or the competent authority for employed candidates/holders of the State Diploma in Midwifery; 11. Authorization to participate in the competitive examination signed by the competent authority for candidates who are workers/holders of the State Diploma of Midwives; 12. Two (02) 4×4 color photos on a white background;
13. A large envelope stamped with 1,000 CFA francs (postage stamp) bearing the candidate’s full name, city of residence, telephone number, chosen training program, and postal address, if applicable;
14. A receipt for payment of the training entrance exam registration fee issued by the head of the application center, amounting to twenty (20,000) CFA francs

Candidates must provide, as supporting documentation, the registration receipt for the aforementioned exams for the current year and must complete the application file as soon as the exam results are published.
Their final admission will depend on obtaining and presenting the required diploma. Complete applications will be received no later than August 7, 2026, by the territorially competent regional delegations of public health. Any incomplete application or one containing a non-compliant diploma will be systematically rejected.
V. NATURE AND CONDUCT OF THE EXAMS: The exams will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs); No candidate will be admitted to the examination room after 7:30 AM. 1. Nature of tests Weighting Science test: Mathematics Biology Physics Chemistry 6 4 hours 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM General knowledge: General knowledge Languages 2 hours Candidates’ access to the examination room will be conditional upon presentation of the following documents. The application receipt; a National Identity Card (CNI) or any other valid form of identification (passport or residence permit). The list of candidates authorized to take the exam will be published 72 hours before the exam date, at the application centers and on the website www.goncoursminsante.cm. Furthermore, candidates authorized to take the exam will be notified by SMS of their exam location 48 hours before the exam date.
The results of the entrance examination for public and private medical and health personnel establishments, for all training cycles combined, will be published by Decision of the Minister of Public Health.
NB: THE MINISTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ASSIGN CANDIDATES ADMITTED TO THE COMPETITION, ACCORDING TO THE AVAILABILITY OF PLACES IN THE DIFFERENT TRAINING COURSES WITHIN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TRAINING ESTABLISHMENTS FOR MEDICAL AND HEALTH PERSONNEL.
