Location: Douala – Cameroon
EMRALD SECURITIES SERVICES, a group of financial and investment institutions, a leader in capital markets in the CEMAC zone, is recruiting an operations director for its subsidiary EMRALD SECURITIES SERVICES MICROFINANCE – CAMEROON , approved under decree n°00000478 / MINFI of May 26, 2026 as a second category microfinance institution with a share capital of 1,000,000,000 CFA francs, based in Douala.
MAIN MISSIONS
- To ensure the management and optimization of the institution’s operational activities
- Ensuring the efficiency of processes and customer satisfaction
- Guarantee compliance with COBAC regulations
ATTRIBUTIONS
- Supervise and coordinate all operational activities
- Ensure the application of internal procedures and regulatory compliance
- Monitor performance and optimize operational processes
- Participate in the definition and implementation of development strategies
- Ensure the reporting of activities to senior management
- Ensuring the security of transactions and managing operational risks
- To supervise, motivate and train operational teams
- Monitor and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and implement operational procedures
- Oversee the management of internal and bank accounts
- Ensure the proper functioning of the technological platforms used
- Analyze operational data and propose solutions for improvement
- Monitor regulatory and technological developments in the sector
- Participate in the meetings of the Executive Committee
TERMS
- 10 years of experience in the banking or microfinance sector, including at least 5 years in a management position
- Proven experience in team management and operations coordination
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in auditing, management control, finance or risk management
