General Ledger Accountant (Interim)
Function
The GL Accountant manages the general ledger accounts in order to meet the criteria identified by Holcim’s management policy. He receives all closing documents and entries, checks, records and performs account analyses, ensuring compliance with allocations and justification of these accounts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the application of SYSCOHADA and Holcim Group procedures (MCS, HARP);
Check, allocate and enter supporting documents from banks;
Allocate and enter all justified manual payments;
Classify Figuil canteen expense documents and analyze discrepancies;
Monitor and correct expenses, sales-marketing and “SPC” administration on a monthly basis;
Analyze all tax accounts;
Analyze all general balance accounts on a monthly basis;
Participate in internal control tests within the requested deadlines.
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Accounting and management diploma (Bac +3 level);
At least 03 years of experience in the field of accounting and financial management.
Technical skills
Good knowledge of accounting and financial techniques;
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax rules;
Knowledge of business management;
Knowledge of JDE software.
