RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute an annual risk-based audit plan Conduct operational, financial, accounting, and compliance audits Evaluate the quality of financial information, internal control mechanisms, and risk management Verify the compliance of activities with internal procedures, laws, and regulations Assess the performance of commercial, operational, and support functions Monitor closing, declaring, and inventory processes Evaluate the security and reliability of information systems Monitor the implementation of recommendations (COBAC, Statutory Auditors, external audits) Conduct investigations related to fraud or irregularities Draft and present audit reports to Senior Management and governance bodies Monitor corrective action plans and alert on major risks Contribute to risk mapping and the improvement of internal control Supervise and coordinate the audit and internal control team
PROFILE: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in auditing, finance, accounting, or risk management. Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing or internal control, including 3 years in a management role within a financial or microfinance institution. Proficiency in auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal control tools. Sound knowledge of information systems and banking regulations. Rigorous, with strong integrity, analytical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to confidentiality. Excellent writing skills and the ability to work under pressure.
