As part of the implementation of the CoSMO (Consolidating Systems and Services for the Management of Orphans and Vulnerable Children) project, which is a 5-year project of approximately US$33 million funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Program (PEPFAR) through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It is implemented by the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (CENC) – a Cameroonian faith-based organization, in partnership with 26 local sub-recipients – implementing partners (SR-IP) in at least 68 health districts in the 10 regions from Cameroon.
In partnership with the CENC, the CODAS Caritas of N’Gaoundéré is looking for one (01) part-time person in Ngaoundéré with experience in the field.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
The Data Entry Agent is responsible for entering data into the electronic information system and archiving beneficiaries’ files with absolute respect for data confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the monitoring/evaluation coordinator, the responsibilities of the data entry agent are as follows:
– The Data Entry Agent works closely with the Case Workers to ensure that all required data is entered into the electronic database on time while respecting its integrity;
– Ensure that all data entered into the electronic database is cleaned regularly to eliminate all errors before use in analysis and reporting;
– Work closely with the M&E Coordinator and the Case Management Coordinator to correct any inconsistencies/errors identified in the data;
– Actively monitor the performance of the data entry platform and immediately report malfunctions to the M&E Coordinator;
– Ensure that data always remains confidential, including those recorded on the electronic platform;
– Regularly validate the data received against the data entered;
– Ensure that all paper data are systematically labeled and archived to facilitate access if necessary;
– Document and immediately report all incidents relating to data management that occur to the M&E Coordinator for appropriate decision-making;
– Perform any other task that may be assigned.
REQUIRED PROFILE
F Hold a Baccalaureate or any other relevant diploma;
F Have 1-2 years of experience in computer data entry preferably in an NGO;
F Have a good knowledge of the use of MS WORD and EXCEL applications.
ABILITIES
– Have the ability and willingness to work in a team;
– Be very autonomous with the ability to work under minimal supervision;
– Have excellent interpersonal communication skills;
– Have the ability to analyze the information available;
– Have verbal and written and documentation skills in English and/or French.
