Job Description: Monitoring Engineer
Job Purpose:
The Monitoring Engineer is responsible for monitoring site operations, ensuring
that work is completed in accordance with plans,
quality standards, scheduled deadlines and safety regulations. This role
involves close coordination with project managers, subcontractors and
suppliers to ensure efficiency and compliance at all levels of the
project.


Key Responsibilities: – Construction Activity Monitoring: Monitor site
activities on a daily basis to ensure they comply with plans and technical specifications. – Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are met. – Documentation Management: Maintain all project documentation, including monitoring reports, design changes and stakeholder communications. – Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between site personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and management. – Progress Reporting: Prepare detailed project progress reports for management and clients, highlighting issues encountered and proposed solutions. – Issue Management: Identify and resolve technical and logistical problems, proposing innovative solutions to minimize delays and costs. – Timeliness: Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget. Required Skills and Qualifications: – Engineering degree in civil engineering or related field. – 3-5 years of professional experience on construction sites . – Strong communication and problem-solving skills. – Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. – In-depth knowledge of construction standards and safety regulations. – Proficiency in project management and CAD software. Job Location: Various construction sites located throughout Cameroon, with a main base in Yaoundé. Send cover letter + CV: carine.dikambi@kalitasgroup.com. Please mention “Application – Monitoring Engineer” in the subject of your email. Important: We ask that you submit your application exclusively in writing
