JOB VACANCY
CREDITINFO CENTRAL AFRICA SA (CICA) is recruiting a Network & Systems Administrator to join its IT team at the company’s Head Office in Douala.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, availability and proper functioning of the group’s IT infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
– Ensure the operational availability and maintenance of network and systems infrastructure.
– Monitor the availability and security of IT environments.
– Manage network and systems incidents and ensure their resolution.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Specific Responsibilities
– Monitor telecommunications links and network equipment.
– Deploy, install and operate network and security equipment, including switches and firewalls.
– Administer VMware and SAN virtualized environments.
– Manage SSL certificates and antivirus updates.
– Implement and maintain hardware and software infrastructure architectures.
– Optimize the use and performance of infrastructure components.
– Administer email and messaging systems.
– Monitor production and disaster-recovery platforms.
– Conduct technology watch and stay up to date with developments in network and systems solutions.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
– Education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+4) to Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Information Systems Administration or an equivalent field.
– Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the banking or telecommunications sector.
– Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
– Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
– Experience with VMware and SAN virtualized environments.
– Good knowledge of data-security solutions, including antivirus, backup systems, firewalls and VPNs.
– Good command of TCP/IP, LAN and Wi-Fi networks.
– Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
– Ability to provide regular and accurate technical reporting.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
