Who are we?
PaySika is a fintech company based in Cameroon. A few years ago, we launched
a mobile application allowing users to obtain a Visa card


directly from their smartphone. They can thus: fund this card via Mobile
Money or a bank account, make transfers between individuals (P2P) and
send funds to Mobile Money wallets.
Job description:
As a Product Manager / Product Owner within PaySika, you will be
responsible for translating our strategic vision of the company into
concrete functionalities, while ensuring an optimal user experience and a
quality product.
Main missions:
➢ Write and update the functional specifications of the products;
➢ Manage the proper implementation and execution of the product roadmap;
➢ Implement tracking tools to identify new features
or track bugs;
➢ Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and its
development;
➢ Organize the production and deployment of new
application features;
➢ Supervise product development by creating dashboards,
indicators and planning points with the team to monitor progress
;
➢ Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers and
other stakeholders to deliver high-performance and intuitive products.
Desired profile:
➢ Bachelor’s, master’s or engineering degree, in computer science,
IT systems management or with proven experience;
➢ Minimum 02 years of experience as a Product manager in a fintech or
B2C mobile app;
➢ Good ability to translate product direction into technical roadmaps and
effectively communicate requirements;
➢ Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Trello or similar) and data analysis (SQL,
Google Analytics);
➢ Knowledge of payment APIs, wallets, digital banking services,
payment networks (Visa, Mastercard);
➢ Proven experience as a backend developer would be an asset.
