🧾 About the Role
VTC is a growing technology company in Cameroon. As part of its expansion, VTC is seeking a motivated and dynamic Secretary – Marketing & Sales Assistant to support the daily activities at its retail and wholesale outlet, VTC Shop. The ideal candidate will be involved in client service, in-store sales, digital marketing, basic admin support, and visual content creation.
This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is proactive, organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about customer engagement and sales performance.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers professionally
- Conduct product sales and handle transactions
- Advise customers on products, promotions, and services
- Track stock levels, restocking needs, and manage product display
- Prepare and manage sales documents (invoices, receipts, delivery notes)
- Maintain and organize office files and basic administrative records
- Use MS Word, Excel, and other office tools effectively
- Create and post visual content using Canva or other tools (e.g., flyers, banners)
- Promote the shop daily through social media (Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Engage with online leads, respond to customer inquiries, and close online sales
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workspace
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual (French & English)
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, customer service, or retail
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, internet tools)
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut – a plus)
- Familiar with social media platforms for business marketing
- Honest, reliable, and result-driven
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
- Minimum education: HND or currently enrolled in a university program
