MISSIONS:
The Head of Accounting and Taxation Department is the guarantor of the financial state of the company. He ensures the maintenance of the general and analytical accounting of SOFITOUL, He / she applies the accounting and financial standards and procedures in force. He maintains relations with all stakeholders, administrations and customers In this capacity, he / she must:
• Carry out the monthly verification of the proper maintenance of the accounts • Create the general and analytical accounting on a daily basis Carry out cash flow monitoring; • Ensure the production of accounts and periodic financial statements in relation to the SOFITOUL Statutory Auditors Prepare the auditor’s audit • Ensure the proper archiving of the company ‘s accounting and tax documentation • • Supervise and lead a team of accountants • Monitor the financial commitments of partners • Ensure “tax optimization • Ensure the preparation of bank reconciliation statements; • Create and control accounting entries (invoicing, payment, bookkeeping, provisions, inventories, fixed assets, etc.); • Establish indicators and dashboards; • Trigger the recovery process • Ensure the tax management of the files under his responsibility; • Ensure the monthly declaration and payment of taxes • Ensure the declaration and payment of social security contributions PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE • Minimum 3 to 05 years of experience in the role of Chief Accountant SPECIFIC SKILLS • Good knowledge of national and international accounting standards • Mastery of Cameroonian social and tax law; • Mastery of accounting software and “IT tools in general • • Mastery of Microsoft software • Good writing skills TRANSVERSAL SKILLS • Have a sense of organization and method; • Have a sense of diplomacy • Be available and adapt; • Be very precise (el: Manage priorities; • Master office automation and IT management tools.
