TAMMOUNDE is a humanitarian and non-profit non-governmental organization established in 2009. Its mission is to promote sustainable and effective local development in order to contribute to building a just and equitable society with the responsible participation of all segments of society, particularly the most vulnerable. It operates in the areas of food security, health, nutrition, infrastructure rehabilitation, water and sanitation, functional literacy, support for elected local officials, and community development in general in the Far North Region.
To implement its future activities in the Far North Region (Mayo Tsanaga, Diamaré, and Logone and Chari), Tammounde is launching a call for applications to recruit twenty (20) field agents.
POSITION: Survey Agents
STATUS: Daily/Pool/Temporary
SUPERVISOR: SERA/MEAL Manager DESIRED PROJECT START
DATE: April 2026 MISSION DESCRIPTION: The survey agents’ main task is to collect data based on questionnaires, interview guides, and/or a smartphone. They may contribute to community awareness and mobilization for the implementation of Tammounde projects. They report to the SERA Manager. Trained surveyors will be included in the pool and will be called upon to carry out activities during the service contract period and paid according to the timesheet. The organization will provide the necessary facilities for carrying out their tasks. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The investigator must:
Collect data from beneficiaries;
Conduct interviews in accordance with established procedures;
Transcribe the collected data ;
Complete the data collection report
accurately;
Participate in training
; Participate in focus groups
; Enter data;
Participate in maintaining humanitarian monitoring;
Administer questionnaires;
Participate in EMS/PDM/Targeting;
Perform any other activities assigned by management; Ensure strict adherence to the code of conduct, internal procedures policy, and the confidentiality of collected data;
Maintain a high level of respect for partners and beneficiaries at all times and at every stage of the data collection process.
Identify target people and explain to them the nature of the survey process. REQUIRED
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education level: Minimum BAC+I
Have a good command of computer tools and data collection
Know how to use Kobo collect
Know how to use a smartphone
Have a good knowledge of the geographical context of the
target area (Mayo Tsanaga, Diamaré and the Logne and Chari)
Have at least one experience as an investigator; Good command of the languages of the Mayo Tsanaga, Diamaré, and Logone and Chari regions. Must be between 18 and 39 years old.
Good organizational and autonomy skills.
Signed cover letter addressed to the National Coordinator of the organization.
Curriculum Vitae duly signed by the applicant.
Photocopy of the required diploma.
Photocopy of the National Identity Card/Receipt for National Identity Card.
Proof of experience.
