We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a major player in the telecommunications and AI-based digital solutions sector, operating primarily in the B2B and B2C markets.
As part of strengthening its presence with large, high-potential companies, we are seeking two dynamic and experienced Regional Managers to lead business development in the Central and Littoral regions.
Main Duties of the Position
Under the supervision of the Sales Director, the two Regional Managers will be responsible for implementing the company’s sales strategy in their respective areas. They will ensure economic performance and the development of the client portfolio, while leading and managing the sales teams.
Responsibilities of the Position
Implement the sales strategy in their region and break down objectives for the different market segments.
Achieve sales, margin, customer acquisition, and profitability targets.
Provide support, guidance, and skills development for the sales force under your responsibility.
Actively participate in responding to tenders and ensure the quality of sales proposals.
Maintain strong professional relationships with partners, key clients, and strategic prospects.
Analyze regional market dynamics, competition, and trends to propose appropriate action plans.
Develop, execute, and monitor the regional sales action plan.
Manage and monitor the regional sales budget .
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales teams.
Ensure regular reporting (activities, sales, coaching, budget monitoring, competitive intelligence).
Represent the company with institutions, professional associations, and regional partners.
Unite, motivate, and coach your team to guarantee the achievement of set objectives.
Required Profile and Skills:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, commerce, and/or sales, ideally in the telecommunications sector.
Proven experience in marketing and/or selling services.
Excellent knowledge of the sector and public procurement.
Experience in drafting specifications and analyzing tenders.
Strong market analysis, synthesis, and strategic planning skills.
Proven experience in managing sales teams and driving regional performance.
Solid skills in marketing, sales, and customer relationship management.
Excellent managerial skills and ability to unite a team around common goals.
Strong leadership and results orientation.
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office 2016).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Good knowledge of the Cameroonian telecommunications and value-added digital services (VAS) market.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a competitive environment.
Bilingual (French/English).
Valid Category B driver’s license.
