Job Title: Accountant
Context:
To ensure the continuity of its operations, ICRAFON is recruiting an Accountant for its accounting department. The position is based in Douala, Cameroon.
Nature of the Mission:
In strict compliance with company standards and under the authority of the Chief Accountant, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:
Entering accounting documents
Filing entered documents chronologically
Organizing the supplier payment file (creating a binder for each supplier: local HG, local group, foreign HG, foreign group)
Ensuring the consolidation of documents related to shipping and cost prices
Monitoring and clearing accounts 408xxx, SGS, and transit accounts
Participating in the clearing of sensitive accounts and account reconciliation Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
Mission start date: July 6, 2026.
Education
, PROFILE, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree
(BAC+3) in accounting, finance, auditing, management control, management, or equivalent.
Prior experience:
2 years of experience in a similar position.
Technical Skills
:
Languages : English and French
NB
– Proficiency in financial flow analysis
– Proficiency in OHADA accounting law and local tax and accounting legislation – Proficiency in PACI procedures would be an asset.
Must be rigorous, methodical, available, discreet, and possess strong communication skills and good computer skills (EXCEL, WORD). Fluency
in French and English .
