I. JOB PURPOSE
The Branding Assistant is the custodian of the identity of the Ecobank brand charged with developing and producing visual content across various platforms like print, outdoor, digital, and social media for marketing and communication initiatives. His/her responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing creative assets, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, managing branding projects, and ensuring all creative materials comply with brand guidelines and legal requirements.


II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Strategy & Execution
Support the Marketing and Communications team as well as advertising agencies in all creative
and design initiatives of the unit.
Conceive and develop effective ideas and concepts for visual communication to support brand and business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and impactful designs that drive business results and brand love.. Content creation & Digital Marketing
Design compelling still graphics, illustrations, and infographics that align with brand standards
and support campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives.
Create dynamic motion graphics and short-form animations for digital platforms, ensuring
content is optimized for social media, web, and internal communications.
Maintain a strategic content calendar that supports product campaigns, brand initiatives, and
corporate communications.
Translate campaign briefs into visually engaging creative outputs—developing concepts,
storyboards, and design variations to drive campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
Apply brand guidelines consistently across all visual deliverables and proactively enhance visual
identity elements to ensure a unified brand experience.
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Communications, and External Agencies to understand
creative needs, refine design concepts, and deliver timely, high-impact creatives.

The position will report locally to the Marketing & Communication Manager.

IV. JOB PROFILE
Experience & Qualifications
At least 2–4 years of proven experience in graphic design, brand development, or a related
creative function, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high quality visual execution and brand
aligned design work.
Evidence of hands-on experience across multiple design disciplines—including digital, print, and
social media—showcasing the ability to conceptualize, develop, and deliver compelling visual and
motion assets.
Demonstrated capability in managing brand consistency, interpreting creative briefs, and
independently driving design projects from ideation to completion. Perfectly bilingual (English & French) & prior experience in a creative, digital or branding agency will be an added advantage Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field. Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or Brand Identity certification will be an advantage. II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Touchpoint Branding Adapt group creative concepts, visual layouts, and brandcompliant materials for all physical and digital customer touchpoints, including branches, ATMs, gadgets, and Xpress Points. Oversee production, installation, and quality assurance of branding elements across locations —ensuring timely delivery, adherence to brand standards, and high execution quality. Collaborate with internal teams (Facilities, Marketing, Retail, Digital) and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation of branding initiatives and resolve project bottlenecks. Enhanced Media Relations & coordination. Prepare or oversee preparation of major communications products, including media briefs, and press releases. Brand Compliance & Performance Monitoring Maintain and uphold brand consistency throughout all our creative projects ensuring strict respect of the brand guidelines from group. Conduct periodic audits of customer touchpoints to verify alignment with corporate brand guidelines, recommend improvements, and enforce corrective actions where necessary Perform all other duties as reasonably assigned. Identify trends and insights to optimize creative designs and brand identity for the Ecobank Brand in the Cameroonian banking space. A BETTER WAY A BETTER AFRICA IV. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Knowledge of production processes for print and digital assets
Detail-oriented with strong visual accuracy and consistency
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
