Young Cameroonian males, wishing to pursue a career in the Defense Forces, are hereby informed that a 

special recruitment of 1,800 commandos for the Rapid Intervention Battalions (BIR), will take place from July 12 to August 9, 2025 in the capitals of the candidates’ administrative regions of origin, 

according to the following terms:

1 – CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED BY CANDIDATES
  Be of Cameroonian nationality be at least 18 years old on January 1, 2025 and at most 23 years old on December 31, 2025 (i.e. be born between December 31, 2002 for the oldest and January 1, 2007 for the youngest); have never been convicted • be single with no dependent children be of good character be physically able to meet the prescribed medical, intellectual and sporting tests, hold at least the CEP or the FSLC or an equivalent diploma; however, it is strongly recommended that candidates present their highest diplomas have a minimum height of 1.66 meters.

II – COMPOSITION OF THE APPLICATION FILE
  01 handwritten application stamped at 1,500 CFA francs, signed by the candidate and addressed to the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of Defense;
     01 copy of birth certificate dated less than three months ago,
  01 certified copy of the diploma presented;
     01 certificate of presentation of the original diploma,
     01 extract from Bulletin No. 3 of the criminal record dated less than three months ago •
  01 duly completed information sheet •
     01 certificate of celibacy;
     04 4×4 identity photos of the candidate, with his name on the back,
  01 non-legalized photocopy of the National Identity Card or Receipt,
     01 certificate of Cameroonian nationality issued by the competent services;
     01 stamped envelope with 500 CFA francs addressed to the candidate • 01 curriculum vitae signed by the candidate; a sum of 5,000 (five thousand) CFA francs, representing the costs of participation in the recruitment (to be paid to an Express Union agency against the issue of a receipt), a sum of 20,000 (twenty thousand) CFA francs, representing the costs of in-depth medical examinations, to be paid by candidates who have passed the pre-selection tests.
The attention of candidates is drawn to:
     the obligation to compete only in their capitals of the administrative regions of origin;
     the prohibition of contracting a marriage before 03 (three) years of effective service;   

the obligation to present authentic diplomas or any other official document in lieu thereof, under penalty of rejection of the file and legal proceedings.

Furthermore, candidates who are finally selected must present the original of their National Identity Card before entering the BIR Commando Training Center, otherwise they will be dismissed.

HOW TO APPLY:

Complete application files should preferably be submitted to the Command Posts of the Military Sectors of the candidates’ regions of origin , or, failing that, to the Command Posts of the Military Sectors of their administrative regions of residence, from Monday, June 9 to Friday, July 4, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., deadline.
