Within the Finance Department of CANAL+ Cameroon, we are looking for our future Head Accountant.
Your role and responsibilities: Supervise general and analytical accounting;
 Ensure the timely production of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, notes);
 Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, group standards);
Control the tax and social security declarations of subsidiaries;
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings;
Monitor intercompany and intra-group transactions;
 Supervise and support subsidiary accountants in their skills development;
 Collaborate with statutory auditors and internal auditors;
 Participate in improving accounting processes and implementing reporting tools;
 Propose solutions for optimizing financial flows: cash flow management;
Ensure compliance with and evolution of internal procedures.

Education
Educational Resources
Primary and Secondary Education Master’s degree
 (Bac +5) in accounting, finance or management (e.g., DSCG, Master CCA, business school with a finance specialization)
 Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an international companySee moreInternational JobsHR Serviceseducation
Proficiency in French accounting standards, IFRS and SYSCOHADA
Good knowledge of ERP tools (SAP)
Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively
Rigor, organizational skills, analytical mind
Good level of English (written and spoken)
Significant experience in an accounting firm is a plus
