Qualifications: Engineering degree or master’s degree
in Civil Engineering, Building or
Public Works.
NB: be registered with ONIGC
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience
minimum in the design,
control or technical audit of
works.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Mastery of construction standards, DTU, Eurocodes, local regulatory
texts . Good knowledge of building and infrastructure pathologies. Mastery of CAD/CAM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and calculation software (Robot, Graitec, etc.). Reading and critical analysis of plans and technical documents. TRANSVERSAL SKILLS: Analytical mind, rigor, attention to detail. Writing skills for technical reports. www.kes-africa.com RESPONSIBILITIES: Field visit and visual inspection of structures (buildings, frames, foundations, etc.). Analysis of technical documents and construction files (plans, DOE, acceptance reports, etc.). Monitoring compliance with technical and regulatory standards (BAEL, Eurocodes, local regulations, etc.). Diagnosis of materials and aging of structures (concrete, steel, masonry). Identification of defects (cracks, subsidence, corrosion, etc.) and assessment of associated risks. Use of measuring tools or non-destructive testing devices if necessary. MISSIONS: Carry out technical and structural audits of existing structures (buildings, foundations, special structures). Assess the conformity of constructions to current standards and initial specifications. Identify failures, risks and structural pathologies. Propose corrective measures and technical recommendations. Write detailed audit reports for stakeholders.
